A third car was involved in this car wreck. Ralph Newton Bellamy died in the collision. Anthony Sims, 35 years old, was taken to the Athens Regional Medical Center.

This was a terrible tragedy and our thoughts are with their friends and families. Please drive safely…avoid text messaging as this can cause serious accidents to occur when you take your eyes off the road.

A local Georgia news team reported on a major traffic accident on I-295 in West Atlanta yesterday. A MARTA bus collided with a tractor trailer rig. Apparently, the accident took place on the inner circle of the perimeter, north of I-20 near Donald Lee Holowell Parkway. This caused a major traffic block.

Fortunately, there were no passengers on the MARTA bus at the time and no one was injured.
