I recently came across a pretty good article that discusses the various types of automobile insurance available to most drivers and what benefits each afford. The Auto Insurance article denotes there are five basic types of insurance coverage: bodily injury liability, property damage liability, medical payments, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, and comprehensive and collision insurance.
