A recent auto accident involving the Minnesota Vikings cornerback Fred Smoot will sideline the athlete for the teams final regular game of the season. Details of the auto accident show Smoot broke his jaw in five places during the auto accident and as a result, Smoot subsequently had to have surgery to repair his jaw. Smoot was at home visiting family and friends in his native state of Mississippi at the time of the accident.
