Athens Banner-Herald discusses two accidents. One included Ann Marguerite Overbey, a 35 year old who died in a wreck in Barrow County. She was a passenger of a car driven by her husband and was ejected from the car after it went out of control and overturned. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

Another car accident was with Timothy Brian Pettyjohn of Carlton, a 19 year old who died in a crash in Dawson County.

Car accidents can be tragic and deadly.

Seeing as it is New Years Eve, there will be many people out on the road. Please drive safe & think about the safety of our families. Our thoughts are with those families who have lost someone in a tragic car accident.
