Sgt. Fred Moon with the Georgia State Patrol said that around 9:20 p.m., a beige Ford F-150 pulled out from a driveway (private) into the oncoming traffic. This caused a green Ford F-150 truck, traveling east on Georgia Highway 36, to smash into the driver’s side door. The green truck came to a stop in the middle of the road, while the beige truck was able to exit off the roadway and stopped at the north shoulder.

Because of this car accident, both drivers sustained head injuries, a local Georgia newspaper reports.

The driver of the green truck was actually trapped in the truck and “had to be extricated” from the car with the “Jaws of Life device.”

The driver of the beige truck had to be “life-flighted to Grady Hospital and the driver of the green truck was life-flighted to Atlanta Medical Center, both in Atlanta.”

Unfortunately, both of the driver’s trucks were totaled.
