After causing a fatal car accident, the fate of a Norcross High School student is now in the hands of local authorities. Bryce Dykes, 18, was driving his Jeep Cherokee on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard when his vehicle slammed into the back of a Nissan Altima being driven by Michael Zhu. Zhu’s passenger, Lind Lin of Roswell was immediately taken to Atlanta Medical Center but subsequently died as a result of her injuries. Lin worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation as a computer engineer prior to her death. Now Dykes, the quarterback of the Norcross football team, faces possible vehicular homicide charges in connection with the auto accident after initially being cited for following to close.
Tragic events such as this one happen all too frequently on Georgia’s roads and highways.
