In a tragic accident a 2-year old boy was recently killed by a school bus after the child ran in front it as the bus pulled off. Cole Ford, deceased, was said to be standing near the stopped bus shortly prior to the accident when the bus started move. When it did, Ford ran in front of it and suffered life ending injuries. At this time it is not known what caused the child to chase after the moving bus. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the bus accident by the local coroner. The school bus was carrying 10 Brookwood Elementary School students at the time of the accident. No charges are expected to be filed in the case given the child’s unexpected actions.
