A Coweta County woman delivering newspapers was tragically struck and killed after another driver crashed into her vehicle while attempting an improper pass. The fatal accident, which occurred earlier this morning on Highway 16, forced Teresa Morrison’s vehicle into the ditch upon impact. Morrison was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene while her nine year old daughter, Rachel Morrison, sought treatment for her injuries at a local hospital . The daughter is expected to survive the tragic car crash. The other driver, as is typically the case, walked away from the auto accident without any notation of serious injury. Further investigation is underway at this point, but no criminal charges have been filed at this point.
