FDA released two recalls on Tuesday this week of products that are sold in Georgia.
The first is a product called Kroger Value Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips sold by Kroger Stores. The product is 12 oz with a UPC Code is 11110–86603. On the package is says "sell by" date of May 30, 2010.
Kroger Value Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips have been sold in stores in Alabama, Arkansas, GEORGIA, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
Three consumers found these value semi sweet chocolate chips may also contain milk protein. The package does not identify milk protein inside the product. People who have allergies or a severe sensitivity to milk protein may be at risk of life-threatening or serious allergic reaction if they have eaten this product.

FDA also released a recall by JFC International, Inc. of all products of Kyosai Sengiri Daikon (40/3.50z) due to the presence of an undeclared sulfite.
People who have a severe sensitivity or an allergy to Kyosai Sengiri Daikon may run the risk of life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Kyosai Sengiri Daikon is a product of China and sold in 3.5oz, clear plastic package with the following UPC Code 0 11152 42327 2. Kyosai Sengiri Daikon has been distributed nationwide.
FDA stated that the Florida State Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, a Division of Food Safety, conducted a routine lab analysis when it revealed the presence of sulfites in Kyosai Sengiri Daikon (this was not on the label). The consumption of these sulfites may cause severe reactions in some asthmatics.
