Three Bryan County High School students’ lost their lives after a tragic car accident occurred on Georgia 119 in Bryan County. The girls, two of which were sisters, were reportedly on their way to school when the driver lost control of his vehicle and veered into the oncoming lane of traffic. An on coming truck slammed into their vehicle after not being able to stop. Tragically, all three girls were killed and the driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries in the collision. The driver of the truck also sought treatment for his injures but they were life threatening.

Police say it will take some time to investigate this deadly crash. They say they want to be thorough.
“You want to do a good job so the victims’ story is told, and there is some accountability,” said Capt. Maxwell. “So we can tell we can tell the parents what happened with a high degree of certainty.”
