Teen Driver Could Face Vehicular Homicide Charges After Causing Passenger's Death

After a car accident that left one passenger dead and two others injured, a 15-year-old teenager may very well face vehicular homicide charges according to Clayton County police. The teenager was said to have pulled out in front of an oncoming truck on Georgia 42 near Stockbridge. Herbert Conselya of Atlanta, was killed as a result of the auto collision and the other two passengers were treated at a local hospital. The teen driver, whose name has not yet been released, was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital and is said to be in stable condition at this time. The teen driver is also expected to face additional charges stemming from his driving without a 21-year-old family member in his vehicle as required by Georgia law for drivers under the age of 16.
