In the latest tale of dangerous dogs in Georgia, a 2-year-old girl was tragically killed after two dogs escaped from their fence and mauled the girl to death. The victim, identified as Robynn Bradley, was reportedly walking beside a fenced in back yard when the two dogs, a boxer mastiff mix and a pit bull mix, attached her. Authorities from the DeKalb Police department are still investigating the incident and no arrests have been made at this time.

Dog bites are on the rise in Georgia. It is apparent that many owners of dangerous dogs like those listed above just do not care enough to ensure their animals do not harm others without cause. When situations like this tragic one arises, the victim and the victim’s family should seek to hold the owners liable for their negligent actions. In making the conscious decision to own and keep vicious dogs that they know could ultimately injury someone through their lack of precautions, why shouldn’t they be held accountable?
